Holiday packing is never easy. That’s why we’ve come up with our list of essentials that every fashion girl shouldn’t forget. Start packing with these essentials now!
- Passport and Documents
Before packing your favorite jeans or dress, start with your passport holder first. Make sure you also have a separate and waterproof document holder to keep these safe while you’re in transit.
- Weather-Appropriate Tops
You have to bring tops and even bottoms which are appropriate to your destination. Having a summer getaway? Then pack light fabric and light colored tops. If you’re looking to cozy in with some winter weather, then make sure you bring clothes to protect you from the cold.
Bring tank tops and short sleeve shirts for a cool summer breeze vacation. Or bring long sleeve tops for colder destinations.
Or make that two dresses, because you’ll never know. Bring a draped or fancy dress even if you haven’t planned for a fancy night. Remember, you really wouldn’t want to wear shorts on a fancy date night, right?
Bring three sets of bottoms, of course, still dependent on your destination. Just be sure, bring a skirt, your trusty jeans, and capris. Make sure that you can mix and match your tops and bottom, too.
Tip: If you pack colorful tops, then bring neutral-color bottoms.
- A Pair of Heels
Yes, we strongly suggest to bring just one pair of heels especially if you’ll be doing a lot of walking on your trip. Choose your to bring your nude or black. And, remember, there’s always room for your trusted heels.
- 2 Pairs of Practical Shoes
Don’t forget to bring shoes for walking and a pair of flats. If you’re planning to do some hiking, then better bring the right shoes. Also, bring your sneakers or flats for your tour or stroll. And don’t forget to bring a pair of flip flops if you’re heading to the beach.
- How about accessories?
It’s better to bring more accessories and fewer clothes. Going on a 7 or a 10-day trip? Then pack at least 7 – 10 statement accessories, including scarves and belts, to add a little color on your nude top.
- Go for non-wrinkling tops
You can also choose to pack hassle and iron-free tops. Make sure that it’s versatile. Wear them during the day and as you cap off with some beer or wine during the night. Remember that not all accommodation provide irons. So might as well be prepared.
We won’t skip this. It’s important to bring a pair of bra and underwear in neutral colors. We also suggest to choose quick dry materials to make sure you’ll still have a pair for extended travels. Bring a sports bra and a reversible bathing suit, too.
And, of course, after all the walking, swimming, and traveling, a comfy pajamas won’t hurt, right? But you can also bring shorts that doubles as a running shorts or choose a lighter material like silk.
